Sagala Trek
Conquer Ningungla Pass (4,890m) on a spectacular loop through Paro and Haa
Paro • Haa
The Sagala Trek is a spectacular 7-day adventure that combines the sacred cultural heritage of Paro and Haa with a high-altitude wilderness traverse through some of western Bhutan's most remote and beautiful mountain terrain. Beginning and ending in Paro, the route visits the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery before crossing the high Chelela Pass (3,988m) into the pristine Haa Valley, then ascending to the dramatic Sagala camp (4,350m) and conquering Ningungla (4,890m) — one of the highest trekking passes in western Bhutan. Rhododendron forests in bloom, yak pastures, alpine meadows and sweeping Himalayan panoramas make this an unforgettable journey.
